Fisher-Friedman Associates/Miller Simmons Associates, Inc. were selected by the resident’s association and staff of the San Francisco Housing Authority to undertake the analysis of existing conditions and master planning of this historic site containing an existing 229 units originally constructed in 1953. This housing complex is strategically situated in a very popular neighborhood that is immediately adjacent to two of the largest tourist destinations in the United States — Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39. In the center of the site is the cable car turnaround whose annual ridership is over 10 million people.
